Our story
Zeiser Wilbert Vault, Inc was started in 1946 by Dick Zeiser and Jack Mikkelsen as a small burial vault company and later expanded into a broader precast product line. In 1994 Charles Kottwitz purchased the company from Jack and continued to grow and diversify the business, helping shape Zeiser Precast into the company it is today.

Stephanie Risley, Owner and President/CEO of Zeiser Precast, has built her career at Zeiser Precast, spending more than 20 years learning the business from the ground up before taking ownership and leading the company into its next chapter.
Stephanie is passionate about preserving the reputation and relationships that have sustained Zeiser for 80 years while continuing to move the company forward. Under her leadership, Zeiser remains focused on developing its people, improving its processes, embracing new opportunities, and delivering the exceptional service customers have come to expect.
A lifelong learner, Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver. Her leadership philosophy centers on building a strong team, creating opportunities for employees to grow, and ensuring Zeiser remains a trusted partner to its customers for generations to come.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Doug, and is the proud mother of Natalie and Jacob. An avid hiker, she completed all 46 Adirondack High Peaks in 2021 and enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family.
For Stephanie, leading Zeiser is about more than preserving what was built before her—it’s about protecting a legacy while serving the future.
